My Story

How I started Kay's Creations

 

I always enjoyed baking for my family while being a stay-at-home mom.

 

My family kept telling me I needed to start selling my cookies. My response was always "no I'm fine" or "not right now." Well as my children have grown older, I felt it was time to give it a try. It would be a way to meet new people and a way to make some extra money, With the help of my family, I started Kay's Creations in December of 2010. My first customer was a nurse, Joy Bumgardner, from Springfield Ohio.

 

How I chose the name Kay's Creations

 

I have to credit my nephew, Michael Nowell. One day, as we were discussing my business, he said "Aunt Katie, you should name your business Kay's Creations because you are always creating new cookies, you are so creative and of course its your name."

 

Company Goal

 

My main goal is to provide great quality  cookies and cupcakes at a reasonable price so all people can afford and enjoy.
